According to CNN Student News, the team of show producers and educators keeps the Common Core Standards and other education standards in mind when producing the show. The show, along with its curriculum, offer an excellent way to address the Common Core Speaking and Listening Standards. It promotes listening and comprehension skills and help students discuss and understand current events presented in the program.
